The mattress arrived rolled up in a box approximately 4 ft tall. It was surprisingly lightweight and easy to move around and unbox. For ease, I brought it to the room and unboxed it and set it on the bed frame. When I opened the bag that surrounded the mattress it quickly sprang open and was at full size almost immediately. There was no funny odor, or waiting hours for it to expand like other boxed mattresses I’ve tried. I was skeptical about how comfortable an inner spring mattress could be, especially after being tightly compressed in a box. But I was pleasantly surprised. The construction is great quality and the stitching is strong. Very durable. It’s not super thick but it’s definitely comfortable. It has the right amount of firmness and support. And for a thinner mattress, I don’t feel any of the coils poking into me. Overall I’m very happy with the mattress.
